We believe this wonderful landscape offers some of the best riding country in the world, with ever changing scenery through the seasons, on quality riding horses to suit all riders. Ours are not trekking horses, and give an excellent hack out across the Exmoor countryside!

Dandy - 17hh Irish Draught x Thoroughbred
- Dandy is now 16 years of age, and settled into a reliable and enjoyable ride.  He is strong and a good weight carrier, and really enjoys his rides.  His favourite companion is Sirrus, but equally rises to the challenge of riding out with both Rosie (the dominant mare) Archie, or Paps our youngster. Dandy is often referred to as a real gentleman!

Rosie   -  15.1hh Section D Welsh Cob
- Our oldest horse who knows her position as lead horse!  She knows only too well how to keep the others in rank.  She has excellent conformation, making her a very comfortable and safe ride, and willing to keep up with the bigger guys.  A lot of fun for experienced teenages and ladies!  Rosie is very much the boss of the yard, and is a good teacher for both riders and horses!

Sirrus-15.3hh Thoroughbred x ID/Welsh Pony - Sirrus and Dandy have been companions since birth, and arrived with us at 9mths old.  Sirrus is a very good natured, very responsive lady, and a pleasure to ride at all times.  Ideal for experienced riders, and can travel the ground at great speed at times!  A really lovely horse. Sirrus has recently been given a bitless bridle, and she is even more gentle than before - a truly friendly kind lady

Archie - 16.3hh Irish Sports Horse

At 9years of age, a delightful ride for experienced riders, Archie has many skills to learn, but is willing, and is a real star!  We all love him and his gentle nature, and sometimes he has a REAL turn of speed. His jumping skills are second to none with his long legs, and clears over 4ft with ease (but not on our rides out!). Around the farm Archie is like a naughtly school kid, and plays with everything - gate catches, licks the pigs, steals hair bands, talks to the shetlands, and gets into daily mischief! a rascal.
